    Sometimes TV Executives can be real Clowns. In the case of American Gothic. Some TV Exec decided the show is too evil, too scary, and he doesn't like it, so, he decides to ruin it and show it in an order that makes no sense, thus lose the audience and destroy to shows chances to continue. However the Shows Presence and Audience was strong and it was completed even though 18 of the 22 episodes were shown originally with the final 4 being shown after the series finale. Since the original airing of the show and subsequent SPECIAL DVD release of the story-line in it's correct order the show has gathered a cult following, and for those who wondered what was going on, enjoying the show in its correct order may make things clearer.
