I hjärtat av den banbrytande TV-serien 'Doom Patrol', som hade premiär 2019, finner vi en samling ovanliga hjältar vars liv förändrades för alltid genom katastrofala olyckor. Dessa olyckor lämnade dem inte bara med extraordinära förmågor utan också med djupa ärr, både fysiskt och psykiskt. Under ledning av den gåtfulle Chief och med hjälp av Cyborg, spelad av Joivan Wade, bildar de en enhet som är lika delar superhjälteteam och stödgrupp. Bland medlemmarna finner vi Diane Guerrero i rollen som Crazy Jane, som besitter flera personligheter med unika krafter, och April Bowlby som gestaltar Rita Farr, även känd som Elasti-Woman. Tillsammans utforskar de världens mest bisarra mysterier och kämpar för acceptans i en värld som föredrar att ignorera dem. Skapad av Jeremy Carver, sträcker sig 'Doom Patrol' över fyra säsonger och totalt 46 avsnitt, varje avsnitt med en speltid på cirka 49 minuter. Trots dess unika berättelse och karaktärsdrivna intrig, har serien tyvärr avslutats och inga fler avsnitt planeras.
