His Dark Materials är en brittisk-amerikansk TV-serie baserad på boktrilogin Den mörka materian av författaren Philip Pullman. Den första säsongen består av åtta avsnitt och täcker den första boken Guldkompassen i serien. Den andra säsongens sju avsnitt täcker den andra boken Den skarpa eggen.
Serien hade premiär 2019 och varje avsnitt är ungefär 60 minuter. Totalt har 23 avsnitt sänts uppdelat på 3 säsonger och serien är i produktion så det kommer att kommma nya avsnitt.

Series 2 begins after Lord Asriel has opened a bridge to a new world, and, distraught over the death of her best friend, Lyra follows Asriel into the unknown. In a strange and mysterious abandoned city she meets Will, a boy from our world who is also running from a troubled past. Mrs. Coulter searches for Lyra, determined to bring her home by any means necessary.
Series 1 follows Lyra, a seemingly ordinary but brave young girl from another world. Her search for a kidnapped friend uncovers an evil plot.
