Efter att två unga män mystiskt försvunnit från en boskapsranch i Australiens obygd får polisen Jay Swan i uppdrag att utreda händelsen. Till sin hjälp har han den lokala polisen Emma James.

Working together with local police sergeant Emma James, the investigation uncovers drug trafficking in the town, and a past injustice that threatens the fabric of the whole community.
