En grupp specialagenter och kriminaltekniker från amerikanska marindepartementets brottsutredande avdelning NCIS som tar hand om fall där militär personal ur flottan och marinkåren är inblandad. NCIS arbete är internationellt och de tacklar allt från mord och misshandel till terrorism och spionage.
