Om The Boys

The Boys är en satirisk och mörkt humoristisk tv-serie som vänder upp och ner på superhjältegenren. Här är superhjältarna inte alltid hjältar, utan snarare kändisar, maktpersoner och gudalika figurer som missbrukar sina krafter. Serien ställer den maktlösa människan mot de supermäktiga och visar vad som händer när berömmelse och makt går före ansvar. I rollerna syns bland andra Karl Urban som Billy Butcher, Jack Quaid som Hugh "Hughie" Campbell och Antony Starr som Homelander. Serien skapades av Eric Kripke och hade premiär 2019. Hittills har 40 avsnitt sänts fördelade på 5 säsonger, och serien är fortfarande i produktion med fler avsnitt på väg.

Meanwhile, Starlight must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront, a social media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
